What are your thoughts on Elon Musk withdrawing from acquiring Twitter?

Also, what do you think about Twitter’s lawsuit against him, to try and force the sale?

A lot has happened since the thread back in April when Elon first proposed the deal. A timeline of events can be found at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposed_acquisition_of_Twitter_by_Elon_Musk

Since the withdrawl, Twitter has sued Musk and just today a judge granted Twitter’s request for an expedited trial, scheduled for October.

A few other questions if you’re inspired:

Why do you think Elon backed out of the deal?

Do you think Twitter has a case that Elon violated the terms of the deal?

What do you think the final outcome of the trial might be?
