What are your thoughts on Florida no longer requiring students exposed to Covid-19 to quarantine?

The surgeon general of Florida, backed by Gov. DeSantis, issued a new protocol making quarantines optional for students that were exposed to Covid-19.

Previously, students were required to quarantine off-campus for at least four days if they were exposed to the virus.

Now if they are asymptomatic, they are not required to.

The guidance also forbids students from quarantining themselves for more than a week. The CDC recommends those who were exposed to Covid-19 to quarantine for around two weeks.
